Outstanding professional singers and instrumentalists team up with the SPS Madrigal Singers to give a reprise performance of Nicholas White’s highly-acclaimed musical drama, The Raven. Also featured will be the first performance of White’s richly romantic cycle, On Dreams Alone, in a newly-conceived version for soloists, chorus and chamber orchestra.

“I can’t remember a more enjoyable evening of music making. For anyone who loves both instrumental and vocal chamber music, it was an evening of sheer heaven in an acoustically ideal performing space. For contemporary serious music, “The Raven” was unusually accessible and yet always new and interesting. It deserves to be performed often, especially with these sensational artists.” (Roger Gilkeson, The Washington Post, February 2013.)
