Boston’s award-winning Arneis String Quartet comes to Philadelphia to give the first concert in the new James Turrell Skyspace in Chestnut Hill. Their program celebrates the city with new music by five of Philadelphia’s most sought-after young composers. The quartet will be joined by mezzo-soprano Christina English who has recently sung at Carnegie Hall and as a soloist with the renowned Boston Modern Orchestra Project. Audience members will hear the quartet under the open Skyspace as the room is transformed by the sunset.
